Morning – Into the deep desert: After breakfast you meet your Berber guide in Merzouga and set off into the Erg Chebbi dunes, alternating between riding your camel and walking so you can take in the landscape at a relaxed pace.

Midday: You reach a shaded spot or a nomad tent for lunch and rest during the hottest hours, with time to meet local families and learn about desert life.

Afternoon: Continuing deeper into the dunes, you pass viewpoints and quiet valleys of sand far from the crowds, arriving at your remote bivouac in time to climb a dune for sunset.

Evening: Mint tea on arrival, followed by a traditional dinner, Berber music around the fire and stargazing under a brilliant desert sky. Overnight in a nomad-style tent.

Next morning: Wake for sunrise and breakfast, then ride and walk back to Merzouga, arriving mid-morning.
